Uniting in Tasmania (operating as Uniting Vic.Tas) is the community services organisation of the Uniting Church, providing support to individuals, families, and communities across Tasmania. Can help people affected by family violence, particularly through emergency relief and family support programs. All Uniting emergency relief and support services are free.
Emergency Relief Services
Emergency relief programs available Monday and Tuesday 9:30am to 12:30pm in Hobart, and at other locations including Bridgewater.

The No Bucks cafe is located at the Wesley Centre, 58 Melville Road, Hobart, Tasmania. It operates Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 2 pm and serves free meals to anyone who wishes to join.

Settlement Support for New Arrivals (SETS)
Support for refugees and migrants in Hobart through the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support program offering personal casework support to individuals and families.
Why this matters: Newly arrived families may face additional barriers when experiencing family violence, including language difficulties, unfamiliarity with systems, and isolation from community support.
