RAIN (Relationship Abuse of an Intimate Nature) is a free support service run by Anglicare Tasmania for people who have experienced or are currently experiencing intimate partner violence. It operates in Tasmania’s North West and West Coast regions, with offices in Devonport, Burnie, and Zeehan.

What they offer: The program provides case management that can include advocacy, safety planning and counselling. It’s designed to help people who’ve been affected by family violence and coercive control – whether that’s physical, verbal, financial, emotional, or mental abuse.

Who it’s for: The service supports women, men and children who have been subjected to family violence. You can refer yourself or be referred by another organization.
